Job Summary

TEKS Academy is looking for a skilled and passionate BIM Trainer to deliver high-quality training in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows. The candidate will be responsible for training students and working professionals in BIM tools, providing practical project-based learning, and preparing learners for industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Explain BIM concepts, workflows, modeling standards, and project coordination techniques.
• Train students in architectural, structural, and MEP modeling, depending on expertise.
• Provide hands-on exercises, assignments, and real-time project-based training.
• Develop training materials, presentations, assessments, and practice projects.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide students in BIM project execution, model coordination, and clash detection.
• Support students with doubts, practical issues, and project submissions.
• Keep training content updated with current BIM industry practices.
• Coordinate with the academic team and management to ensure training quality.
• Assist students with portfolio development and interview preparation, where required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM concepts.
• Working knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of architectural, structural, or MEP modeling workflows.
• Knowledge of clash detection, model coordination, and documentation.
• Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and practical manner.
• Proficiency in developing exercises and project-based learning materials.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant BIM software certifications are an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in BIM modeling, design coordination, or BIM training is preferred.
• Freshers with strong BIM software knowledge and excellent communication skills may be considered, depending on academy requirements.
