Role & responsibilities

• Generate OPD, IPD, and procedure-related bills accurately.
• Verify patient details, treatment records, and charges before bill generation.
• Process insurance, TPA, corporate, and cashless billing as per hospital policies.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and TPAs for claim processing and approvals.
• Handle patient billing queries and provide necessary clarifications.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain billing records.
• Reconcile daily billing transactions and prepare billing reports.
• Follow up on pending payments, claims, and reimbursement cases.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and billing data.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with medical, nursing, pharmacy, and diagnostic departments for billing accuracy.
• Assist during audits and provide necessary billing documentation.
