Walk-in || Billing Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify RA bills, client bills, and subcontractor/vendor bills.
• Measure and certify executed quantities as per drawings, BOQ, and site records.
• Maintain billing records, quantity tracking sheets, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, clients, and contractors for bill certification.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely submission of bills.
• Prepare variation statements, extra item claims, and rate analysis.
• Reconcile material consumption, work progress, and billed quantities.
• Assist in budget control, cost monitoring, and project profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions and billing procedures.
• Support project documentation, MIS reporting, and audit requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2 to 8 years of experience in construction billing and quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and rate analysis.
• Experience in client billing, contractor billing, and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software/ERP systems.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and project documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
