Key Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Bar Manager.
• Previous experience in a reputed international-standard restaurant or star hotel is preferred.
• Excellent and fluent International Standard English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage service and cocktail preparation.
• Proven experience in staff supervision, training and team management.
• Good knowledge of inventory, stock control and purchasing procedures.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage bar sales, billing, cash handling and operational costs.
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-standard hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all daily bar operations.
• Lead, train and motivate bar staff to maintain high service standards.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower requirements.
• Ensure excellent customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and maintain cocktail, beverage and bar menus.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation and service standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Control wastage, breakage and beverage consumption.
• Coordinate purchasing and communicate with suppliers.
• Check the quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Handle cash, billing and daily sales reconciliation.
• Monitor bar sales and operating expenses.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales and stock reports.
• Control operating costs and contribute to overall bar profitability.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Team and General Manager.
• Monitor staff performance and identify training requirements.
• Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of the bar.
• Support the management team in achieving sales and profitability targets.
