Role & responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of private equity and alternative investment fund operations, including quarterly transactions, financial systems/applications, and reporting source data.
• Review investor statements for all private equity funds, focusing on cash flows, IRR, and total return calculations.
• Update and reconcile capital account statements and cash flow memos.
• Analyze financial statements, including NAV, returns, total commitments, unfunded amounts, and total returns, while managing capital accounts and cash flow analysis.
• Review audit confirmations, provide accurate reports to auditors, and address auditor inquiries effectively.
• Apply advanced financial metrics such as IRR, MOIC, TWR, and leverage ratio calculations for private equity funds.
• Handle mailbox operations and address investor queries with accuracy and professionalism daily.
• Address ad-hoc requests promptly and effectively.
• Identify process gaps, recommend automation opportunities, and drive transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to process documentation efforts, including creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform tasks with agility, proactivity, and a solution-oriented mind-set.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in private equity or alternative investment fund operations.
• Strong understanding of private equity metrics, including IRR, MOIC, TWR, and leverage ratio calculations.
• Expertise in analyzing financial statements for investor reporting, including NAV, returns, total commitments, unfunded amounts, and total returns.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement automation solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Hands-on experience with AI and productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and other AI-enabled analytical platforms to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Certification or training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Data Analytics, or related technologies will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
