Walk-in || Associate Quality Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Incoming Quality Inspection
  
• Inspect raw materials such as solar cells, glass, EVA/POE, backsheet, frames, junction boxes, etc.
• Verify material specifications and quality against approved standards.
• Record inspection results and identify defective materials.
• In-Process Quality Control
  
• Monitor quality at different stages of module production, such as:
  
• Cell stringing
• Layup
• EL inspection
• Lamination
• Trimming
• Framing
• Junction-box fixing
• Final inspection
• Ensure operators follow work instructions and quality procedures.
• Identify defects and stop/escalate production when necessary.
• Final Quality Inspection
  
• Check finished solar modules for visual and dimensional defects.
• Verify parameters such as module appearance, labeling, dimensions and electrical test results.
• Support EL, IV/flash-test and other inspection/testing activities.
• Defect Analysis
  
• Identify common defects such as:
  
• Cell cracks
• Soldering defects
• Misalignment
• Bubbles/delamination
• Glass scratches
• Frame defects
• Junction-box issues
• Help determine the root cause using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone and Pareto analysis.
• Documentation & Reporting
  
• Maintain inspection reports, rejection/rework records and quality check sheets.
• Prepare daily/shift quality reports.
• Maintain traceability of production and quality data.
• Corrective & Preventive Action
  
• Participate in CAPA activities.
• Follow up on corrective actions for recurring defects.
• Work with Production, Maintenance and Process Engineering teams to reduce defects.
• Quality Standards & Safety
  
• Follow plant SOPs, work instructions and quality procedures.
• Support compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and applicable solar-module standards.
• Follow EHS and workplace safety requirements.
