JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title (Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager- Head MRD)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsibilities and key tasks
• To maintain privacy & confidentiality of the patient records.
• To demonstrate skills in maintaining timely and accurate medical records (manual & computerized)
• To follow all ICD protocols.
• To assist physicians & nurses in MR & EMR filling by providing them support for technical reasons within domain.
• To undertake EMR filing audits.
• To generate regular MIS.
• To file records systematically with the standard indexing practice.
• To communicate with the government departments/ officials for medico legal and other statutory requirement on an ongoing need basis.
• To supervise & control destruction/ shredding as deemed appropriate in conformation to statute.
• To interface with the visiting consultants, physicians & nursing staff & work in close harmony.
• To co-ordinate with outsourced storage agency & ensure proper record management as per contract.
• To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices.
• To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital. 
• To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
• To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area
• To Comply with patient safety policy
• To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
