AR Analyst – RCM

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AR Analyst with 1–2 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM / Accounts Receivable. The candidate will be responsible for managing outstanding accounts, analyzing denied and unpaid claims, and following up with insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) activities for US Healthcare RCM.
• Review and analyze outstanding insurance and patient accounts.
• Perform timely AR follow-up through calls, portals, and insurance websites.
• Contact insurance companies regarding claim status, denials, underpayments, and payment issues.
• Identify the root cause of claim denials and take appropriate corrective action.
• Work on denials, rejections, unpaid and underpaid claims.
• Review EOB/ERA and payment details.
• Verify claim status using payer portals and other available resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of follow-up actions and claim status.
• Escalate complex or unresolved accounts appropriately.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets.
• Ensure compliance with client and company processes.
• Prepare and maintain AR-related reports and trackers.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of experience in US Healthcare AR / RCM.
• Good knowledge of the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management process.
• Knowledge of insurance follow-up and claim status.
• Understanding of EOB, ERA, CPT, ICD, denial codes, and claim forms.
• Good knowledge of payer portals and insurance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Willingness to work in a day shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Any graduate degree.
• Experience with US Healthcare RCM/medical billing is preferred.
• Knowledge of major US insurance payers is an added advantage.
