Job Description - AI & Data Platform Product Manager

We are looking out for a Product Manager for the team building research and market-analysis tools (technical signals, derivative data, option chain analysis) for retail and active traders. This role owns the roadmap for taking these research tools beyond static signals into a scalable strategy-builder product letting users define, test, and act on their own rule-based trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for research tools technical indicators, derivative and options data, and trading signals across asset classes (equity, index, options, currency, commodities).
• Design and scope a strategy-builder layer that lets users combine indicators and conditions into custom, rule-based strategies on top of existing research tools.
• Work with engineering on the underlying data and computation needed to scale from fixed signals to user-configurable strategies, including backtesting.
• Translate market and trader behavior (how signals are used, where users drop off, what strategies they ask for) into a prioritized product roadmap.
• Partner with the research/analytics team to validate that signals and strategy outputs are accurate and useful before they ship.
• Define and track adoption and engagement metrics for research and strategy-builder features.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 35 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally on capital markets, trading, or research/analytics products.
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA is a plus.
• NISM-Series-XV (Research Analyst) certification preferred; NISM-Series-VIII (Equity Derivatives) is a plus.
• Track record of shipping products end-to-end — from problem discovery through launch and iteration.

Market & Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of technical analysis — indicators, chart patterns, and how traders use them to make buy/sell decisions.
• Working knowledge of derivatives and options — open interest, volume, strike-price analysis, and how option chain data signals market sentiment and support/resistance levels.
• Familiarity with how retail and active traders research and act on signals across equity, index, currency, and commodity markets.
• Understanding of how a strategy-builder product should work — combining indicators/conditions into rules, backtesting them against historical data, and letting users act on or automate them.

Technical & Product Skills

• Experience building consumer-facing platforms from the ground up, across both mobile (iOS/Android) and web — comfortable making architecture-level product decisions with engineering, without needing to write code.
• Able to translate research signals and indicators into a scalable, rule-based strategy-builder experience that stays consistent across mobile and web.
• Comfortable working with engineering and design on platform fundamentals — performance, scalability, and cross-platform consistency — as the product grows from research signals into a full strategy-builder tool.
• Basic SQL and data-analysis skills — able to explore market/usage data independently to validate signal accuracy and feature performance.
• Strong product judgment on trade-offs between flexibility (letting users build custom strategies) and simplicity (keeping the tool usable for less advanced traders), on both platforms.
