Job title - AEM Guide Senior Developer

Exp - 6 to 10 years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides
• Implement and enhance custom AEM Guides components, plugins, and extensions
• Develop backend functionality using Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR
• Customize and extend structured authoring and publishing workflows
• Enhance and maintain existing AEM Guides implementations, including legacy code improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product owners, architects, content authors) to deliver tailored solutions
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex AEM Guides and AEM platform issues
• Ensure high code quality through unit testing and adherence to AEM best practices
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to drive continuous improvement

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on development experience with AEM Guides (mandatory; configuration-only or support-only profiles will not be considered)
• Solid experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 preferred)
• Strong proficiency in:
• Java
• OSGi
• Apache Sling
• JCR
• HTL (Sightly)
• Experience with Maven-based AEM builds and deployments
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
• Strong understanding of structured content, DITA-based authoring, and publishing workflows

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• Experience integrating AEM Guides with other AEM modules or external systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Manager
• Adobe AEM or AEM Guides certifications
