Walk-in || Accounts Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, receipts, payments, and ledger maintenance for the workshop.
• Supervise and manage the cashier, ensuring accurate cash handling, daily cash reconciliation, receipts, deposits, and adherence to company financial procedures.
• Monitor workshop revenue, expenses, outstanding payments, and customer account balances.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for service, repairs, parts, insurance, and warranty jobs.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and management MIS reports on workshop financial performance.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts, Insurance, and Finance teams for smooth financial transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GST, statutory requirements, and other financial processes.
• Monitor internal controls, audit requirements, and reconciliation of cash, bank, customer, and vendor accounts.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-10 years of experience in automobile dealership/workshop accounts.
• Strong knowledge of workshop billing, receivables, payables, GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
• Experience in handling service, parts, insurance, warranty, and customer billing processes.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / DMS / ERP and MS Excel, including MIS reporting.
