Walk-in || Accounts Executive (US Accounting)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing & Invoicing Executive to manage invoicing, payment processing, shipping documentation and customer orders. The role requires strong accuracy, sound knowledge of US accounting principles, and clear coordination with internal teams, carriers and customers to ensure timely operations and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Process incoming and outgoing payments and maintain proper records.
• Manage shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists and related export/import paperwork.
• Process and track customer orders from receipt to delivery.
• Identify, investigate and reconcile billing discrepancies and payment mismatches.
• Maintain accurate financial entries in QuickBooks and Odoo ERP.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics and accounts teams, and with carriers and customers, to resolve queries and keep operations on schedule.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and support month-end closing and reporting.
• Maintain organised documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Working knowledge of US accounting principles (US GAAP).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Odoo ERP (mandatory).
• Experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable or order processing.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with shipping and logistics documentation.
• Experience working with US-based customers or in US time zones.
