Walk-in || Accountant

Role & responsibilities

• GST: Preparing GST returns, reconciling input tax credit, and reviewing GST invoices.
• TDS: Calculating tax deducted at source, depositing it, and filing applicable returns.
• Tally/ERP: Maintaining accounts using Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, or other accounting software.
• Payroll: Calculating salaries, deductions, and applicable statutory contributions.
• Vendor and customer reconciliation: Matching balances and resolving discrepancies.
• Financial year-end closing: Preparing schedules and supporting documents for annual accounts and audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 13 years of relevant accounting experience preferred; freshers may also apply.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
