Job Summary

Genix Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting processes and be proficient in Advanced Excel and Basic Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
• Handle purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and expense entries.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements and account balances.
• Prepare Excel reports for sales, purchases, expenses, outstanding payments, and other financial data.
• Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting, formulas, sorting, filtering, and maintaining MIS reports.
• Handle basic accounting entries and transactions in Tally.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding bills, payments, and documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Support the senior accounts team in day-to-day accounting activities.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of assigned accounting tasks.

Required Skills

• Advanced Excel Mandatory
• Basic Tally – Mandatory
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain records and documentation systematically.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Candidates with relevant accounting experience will be preferred.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or a related role preferred.
• Freshers with strong knowledge of Advanced Excel and Basic Tally may also apply.
