Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, statutory compliances, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and accurately record financial transactions.
• Handle sales/purchase invoicing, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation and maintain proper banking records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and maintain GST, TDS and other statutory records/compliances.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely settlements.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments regarding accounting-related matters.
• Assist in monthly closing, MIS reports, financial statements, and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper accounting documents, vouchers, invoices, and supporting records.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related activities as assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivable.
• Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Ledger Reconciliation.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Candidates with experience in Shipping, Logistics, Transport, or related industries will be preferred.
