About the role
We are a Chartered Accountant firm looking for an accountant to work full time at one of our clients offices in Jaipur. You will handle the accounts there on your own, with our team guiding you. We will train you on how the work is done in practice and review it, so you will learn a lot about real-world accounting.
What you will do
- Maintain the books of accounts in Tally on a daily basis
- Do bank, party and other reconciliations
- Prepare data for GST returns and reconcile the GST figures with the books
- Prepare data for TDS and income tax compliance
- Pass adjustments and get the accounts finalised by the CA
- Coordinate with the clients team and with our office
What we need
- Practical, hands-on working knowledge of Tally. Tally course certificates alone are not enough; please apply only if you have worked on live accounts.
- Good Excel skills: VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables are a must
- Basic understanding of accounting, GST and TDS
- Own vehicle is a must (the client location is at a distance from our office)
- Willingness to learn and to take full responsibility for your work
- Honest, punctual and regular
What you will get
