Job Profile: Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate and timely accounting entries.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, debit/credit notes, and other financial transactions.
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice verification, posting, reconciliation, and follow-up.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor, customer, cash, and bank ledgers.
• Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliation and identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain cash book, bank book, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare MIS reports, accounting reports, and financial statements as required by management.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting-related requirements.
• Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely settlements.
• Use MS Excel for data management, analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and preparation of accounting statements.
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Assist in internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary reports and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, hospital policies, and applicable financial controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime and accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience in Tally accounting entries, ledger management, reconciliation, and report extraction.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, including:
• Formulas
• Sorting & Filtering
• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
• Pivot Tables
• Conditional Formatting
• MIS & Report Preparation
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Knowledge of GST and TDS.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
• Good knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude, integrity, and confidentiality.

Qualification & Experience

• B.Com preferred; candidates with any graduation and strong relevant accounting experience may also be considered.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in accounting/accounts operations.
• Experience in a hospital, healthcare organization, diagnostic centre, or similar service industry will be preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and advanced/working-level MS Excel is essential.
• Candidates with knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliation, MIS reporting, and audit support will be preferred.
