Job Purpose

Responsible for the accurate generation, tracking, and management of E-Way bills and GST compliance related to the movement of goods, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and zero legal penalties.

Key Responsibilities

• Bill Generation: Create flawless Part-A and Part-B E-Way bills on the government portal.
• Data Verification: Cross-check HSN codes, tax rates, GSTINs, and delivery addresses against commercial invoices.
• Vehicle Updates: Modify transporter details and vehicle numbers in real-time for multi-modal transshipments.
• Validity Extensions: Monitor transit delays and extend E-Way bill validity before expiration to avoid penalties.
• Reconciliation: Monthly matching of E-Way bill data with GSTR-1 filings and books of accounts.
• Coordination: Liaise closely with dispatch, logistics, and transporters to obtain real-time vehicle tracking data.
• Error Handling: Cancel or amend incorrect E-Way bills within the legal 24-hour window.
• Record Keeping: Maintain neat digital registers of all generated, cancelled, and rejected E-Way bills for tax audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or a related field.
• Software: Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, SAP, or similar ERP software.
• Portal Knowledge: Practical familiarity with the government E-Way bill and GST portals.
• Regulations: Solid understanding of CGST, SGST, and IGST rules regarding interstate and intrastate movement.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and strong communication skills.
