    About this role

    Role Purpose

The Chief Marketing Officer will position PrintForm as a trusted single source for custom manufactured plastic and metal parts, helping customers move from prototype to production.

This executive will build a measurable marketing engine that generates qualified RFQs, supports profitable revenue growth, expands existing customer relationships, and strengthens adoption of PrintForms digital platform.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Success will be measured by marketings contribution to pipeline, customers, revenue, and gross profit.

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Brand Strategy and Positioning

    • Establish consistent positioning across CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, die casting, cast urethane, silicone molding, and 3D printing.
    • Translate PrintForms engineering expertise, supplier network, quality processes, and delivery capabilities into clear customer value.
    • Reinforce the tooling strategy: Sell parts, not tooling, while clearly explaining options for customers who require tool ownership.
    • Develop PrintForm.ai positioning in partnership with Technology, aligning marketing claims with capabilities available to customers.
    • Maintain consistent messaging across the website, proposals, presentations, campaigns, and sales materials.

    2. Demand Generation and Revenue Growth

    • Develop integrated campaigns using search, paid media, LinkedIn, email, webinars, events, and industry partnerships.
    • Build campaigns by manufacturing process, industry, customer need, and stage of product development.
    • Generate qualified opportunities from engineers, sourcing professionals, purchasing teams, and manufacturing leaders.
    • Launch account-based marketing programs for strategic accounts and repeat-production opportunities.
    • Allocate spending based on opportunity quality, conversion, acquisition cost, and gross-profit contribution.

    3. Customer Lifecycle and Account Expansion

    • Create connected journeys from first engagement through registration, RFQ, quote, purchase, reorder, and account expansion.
    • Develop nurture programs for prospects who engage but have not submitted an RFQ.
    • Build follow-up campaigns for customers who receive quotes but do not purchase.
    • Support cross-selling across manufacturing processes and the transition from prototype orders to production programs.
    • Use customer feedback, case studies, and testimonials to improve messaging and strengthen retention.

    4. Marketing Operations and MCloud (CRM) Integration

    • Establish a consistent operating flow: Research Marketing Sales MCloud.
    • Align lead qualification, scoring, routing, and handoff rules with Sales.
    • Develop campaigns around PrintForms lead categories: inbound RFQ, inbound inquiry, content engagement, and research-sourced prospects.
    • Coordinate HubSpot, email marketing, and MCloud workflows with Technology.
    • Track the complete funnel from campaign engagement to qualified RFQ, quote, order, and repeat business.
    • Maintain reliable data, attribution, suppression lists, and customer communication preferences.

    5. Technical Content and Sales Enablement

    • Build a content program covering materials, tolerances, finishes, manufacturability, process selection, quality, and production planning.
    • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers and process leaders to ensure technical accuracy.
    • Create case studies showing how PrintForm solves customer problems across prototype and production.
    • Equip Sales with industry presentations, process guides, comparison sheets, objection responses, and campaign-specific materials.
    • Explain shipping and landed-cost options clearly in customer-facing content.

    6. Leadership and Budget Management

    • Build and lead the marketing team, with clear ownership, priorities, and performance expectations.
    • Manage agencies and outside specialists against defined deliverables and business outcomes.
    • Own the annual marketing plan, budget, and quarterly execution roadmap.
    • Work closely with Research, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technology, and Finance.
    • Ensure campaign demand aligns with operational capacity and customer commitments.
