About this role
Responsibilities:
- Operate VMC machines for precision component machining.
- Read engineering drawings and understand dimensions/tolerances.
- Perform tool setting, work offset, job loading, and unloading.
- Operate CNC programs and make basic offset corrections.
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, boring, pocketing, and slotting.
- Inspect components using Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
- Monitor tool wear, machine condition, coolant, and quality.
- Maintain production targets, safety, and housekeeping.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
- 0–3 years VMC experience preferred.
- Knowledge of G-code/M-code, cutting tools, speeds & feeds.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and use measuring instruments.
