About this role
- Set VMC/CNC machines as per drawing, process sheet, and work instructions.
- Perform machine setup, fixture mounting, workpiece setting, and alignment.
- Set and adjust tool offsets, work offsets, tool length, and tool wear offsets.
- Load and verify CNC/VMC programs before starting production.
- Make minor program corrections and parameter adjustments as required.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and tooling.
