Role & responsibilities

Role Summary:
Responsible for governing, reviewing, and managing VS Code extension requests through an approval-based release process, ensuring security, compliance, and business requirements are met before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve/reject VS Code extension requests.
• Maintain approved, blocked, and restricted extension catalogs.
• Define and enforce extension governance policies.
• Monitor extension usage and compliance.
• Automate workflows and reporting where applicable.
