This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager, Wholesale based in United States.
This role leads the execution of visual merchandising strategies across a diverse network of wholesale partners. You will translate seasonal brand concepts, product priorities, and creative direction into compelling in-store experiences. The position combines creative vision with hands-on execution, account support, training, and project management. You will collaborate closely with Visual, Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, and Wholesale teams to ensure consistency across channels. The role also provides opportunities to influence major account presentations, seasonal installations, trade shows, and new store openings. Success requires strong visual design expertise, commercial awareness, organization, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. Accountabilities:: Support the development and execution of the overall visual merchandising strategy across wholesale accounts, ensuring key business initiatives, seasonal priorities, and brand standards are consistently represented.
Partner with Visual and Merchandising teams during sample turnover, assortment reviews, and seasonal planning meetings to understand key products, buys, and creative priorities.
Translate monthly and seasonal visual direction into wholesale environments through product placement, mannequin styling, displays, and other merchandising techniques.
Create, adapt, and distribute visual direction documents, brand tools, and merchandising resources tailored to different wholesale account formats and needs.
Develop and deliver workshops, in-person training, and virtual sessions for internal wholesale teams, specialists, and key accounts, including train-the-trainer programs.
Communicate in-season visual updates, including promotional direction, creative changes, and adjustments based on store visits, business feedback, or leadership priorities.
Travel to key wholesale accounts to lead seasonal installations, specialty projects, remodels, and other visual merchandising initiatives alongside partner teams.
Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Brand Concept, and Visual teams on quarterly line adoption and brand concept sets, adapting seasonal concepts for trade shows and priority wholesale locations.
Partner with Creative Services and Marketing on monthly, seasonal, and special-event creative and artwork, ensuring visual execution remains aligned with the broader brand vision.
Coordinate the ordering and delivery of windows, marketing collateral, props, and other visual materials for partner and specialty stores.
Manage trade show projects from planning through completion, including budgets, ordering, schedules, staffing, setup, breakdown, and transportation of reusable props between events.
Support corporate meetings, vendor meetings, licensing events, and other special installations as needed.
Lead visual merchandising execution for wholesale new store openings, including shop-in-shops, airport locations, and partner stores, while supporting retail and outlet openings when required.
Analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results to inform visual decisions and identify opportunities to improve execution and commercial effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels, balancing creative objectives, business priorities, deadlines, and account requirements.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a closely related role, preferably within a retail or wholesale environment.
Demonstrated visual design expertise supported by a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
Solid field visual merchandising experience, including window displays, signage, interior displays, space utilization, and physical installations.
Hands-on ability to install creative elements, including patching and painting, hanging materials, displays, and related visual components.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop; Illustrator and additional visual design tools are a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to use business and merchandising information effectively.
Strong knowledge of current visual merchandising trends, retail best practices, customer behavior, and evolving market aesthetics.
Ability to analyze sales and merchandising data, survey results, and customer or trend insights to inform assortment and visual decisions.
Creative, innovative thinker who can challenge existing approaches and introduce ideas that improve effectiveness and execution.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate creative direction clearly to both internal teams and external partners.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency when executing brand and visual standards.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to react quickly to changing business needs, feedback, and priorities.
Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage deadlines, and coordinate complex installations or events.
Flexible and adaptable approach, particularly in a fast-moving environment with changing account requirements and seasonal priorities.
Willingness and ability to maintain a flexible travel schedule to support key wholesale accounts, installations, trade shows, and openings.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels.
