About the Role

Harmony House is looking for a creative and skilled Visual Content Creator to capture photographs and videos of our programmes, events, and daily activities. The candidate will help us share the stories of our children, showcase our work, and create engaging visual content for social media, donor communications, and fundraising initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Photograph and film programmes, events, workshops, and daily activities across Harmony House centres.
• Plan, shoot, and create Instagram Reels, interviews, testimonials, and short videos.
• Edit videos using mobile applications and computer-based editing software.
• Plan shots and sequences and prepare basic shooting plans based on content requirements.
• Add subtitles, text, music, graphics, and transitions to videos as needed.
• Ensure good framing, lighting, sound quality, and visual presentation.
• Work with the communications team to develop creative ideas and visual content.
• Organise and maintain photographs, raw footage, and edited videos.
• Adapt content for different social media platforms and communication needs.
• Document special events, donor visits, and programme highlights.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good photography and videography skills, using smartphones and/or cameras.
• Practical experience in video editing using mobile applications and computer-based software.
• Understanding of framing, lighting, sound, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to create engaging Reels, short videos, interviews, and social media content.
• Basic photo-editing skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work on-site, Gurugram, and travel between centres when required.
• A portfolio or samples of previous photography and video-editing work will be preferred.
• A graduate or diploma holder in Photography, Videography, Filmmaking, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred. Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
