Video Storyteller & Content Producer

Video Storyteller & Content Producer

Mumbai, BKC | Full-Time| Marketing & Communications

A quick note before you read on: this role touches everything from scripting to shooting to editing — but we don't expect one person to walk in mastering all of it. If you're strong in even a couple of these areas and genuinely curious about the rest, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Video Storyteller & Content Producer who can own a project end-to-end — from the first storyboard sketch to the final export. You'll work closely with the marketing and content team to bring campus stories, campaigns, and brand initiatives to life through video, across formats like social content, brand films, event coverage, and course promos.

This role suits someone who's curious across the board — happy to pick up a camera, sit in on an edit, or help plan a shoot — even if you're still building depth in some of these areas.

Key Responsibilities

Storyboarding & Scripting

• Translate briefs and concepts into clear storyboards and shot lists
• Write and refine scripts for videos, reels, and campaign content, adapting tone for different audiences and platforms
• Collaborate with the content team to align video narratives with brand voice and messaging

Shoot Planning & Production

• Plan shoots end-to-end: locations, equipment, talent coordination, permissions, and schedules
• Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment on set
• Manage on-location logistics and troubleshoot in real time
• Coordinate with faculty, students, and external stakeholders during shoots

Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, web, events, and internal use
• Handle color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and subtitling as needed
• Manage version control and turnaround timelines across multiple projects
• Optimize final cuts for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, web)

What We're Looking For

You don't need to check every box — a mix of these is great, and we're happy to help you build the rest.

• 0–2 years of experience in video production (agency, in-house, or freelance); freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve)
• Working knowledge of camera and lighting equipment
• Strong scriptwriting and visual storytelling skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
• A portfolio/reel demonstrating range across formats

Good to Have

• Experience with motion graphics (After Effects)
• Familiarity with short-form/social-first content trends
• Experience producing content in an education, campus, or youth-brand environment

What You'll Get

• Ownership of projects from concept to final cut
• Exposure to a wide range of formats — brand films, event coverage, digital campaigns, course content
• A collaborative, fast-moving marketing team
