Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor with 0 to 3 years of experience to transform raw footage into high-converting visual stories for digital campaigns, brand films, social media reels, and client marketing assets. The ideal candidate must possess strong storytelling abilities, a sharp sense of pacing, and solid motion graphics skills. You will work closely with creative directors, copywriters, and cinematographers to craft high-impact video content for diverse client portfolios (including QSR, retail, and corporate brands).
Role & Responsibilities
- Video Post-Production: Assemble, cut, and edit high-quality videos for social media reels, promotional ad campaigns, brand films, YouTube videos, and corporate presentations.
- Visual Effects & Motion Graphics: Add text overlays, kinetic typography, visual transitions, lower thirds, basic motion graphics, and graphic animations to enhance engagement.
- Color Grading & Audio Design: Perform professional color correction/grading, clean up raw audio, layer sound effects (SFX), and mix background tracks to match campaign tone.
- Format & Platform Optimization: Adapt and export videos for different social media ratios and platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Web).
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with copywriters for script execution, cinematographers for footage, and graphic designers for brand assets to maintain design consistency.
- Asset Management & Deadlines: Organize project files, manage raw footage archives, and deliver final video cuts under fast-paced agency turnaround times.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of professional video editing experience (agency background or creative showreel is highly preferred).
- Mandatory Requirement: A strong Portfolio / Showreel showcasing video pacing, transitions, text overlays, and storytelling style.
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and basic knowledge of DaVinci Resolve or CapCut (Desktop).
- Trends & Pacing: Strong understanding of current social media trends, viral audio formats, hook-based editing for reels, and quick-turnaround content creation.
- Mindset: Creative, detail-oriented, adaptable to different brand guidelines, and capable of managing tight deadlines.
- Availability: Must be an immediate joiner (able to start right away).
