What you'll actually do

Edit

• Brand films the long-form pieces that carry the company's story
• Ad films and campaign work, including client-facing production through CRIT™
• Social films — reels, shorts, teasers, cutdowns, platform-native edits
• Case-study films, event coverage from IBC and MIPCOM, founder and customer interviews, product and demo pieces

Finish

• Colour correction and grade; audio cleanup, mixing and levels
• Titles, lower thirds, transitions, end cards, motion graphics in After Effects
• Light VFX — cleanup, tracking, keying, compositing
• Export and delivery to spec, per platform, per client

Version

• One master, every version the market asks for: language versions, aspect ratios, durations, platform cuts. This is the core of how we work — made once at the top, fragmented downward
• Work with subtitled, dubbed and lip-synced material, which changes how you cut. You'll learn this here if you haven't done it before

Work with the team

• Take a shot map or edit brief from the Strategist or the director and turn it into a cut
• Sit in on shoots when we need you there; occasionally shoot yourself
• Keep footage, projects and versions organised well enough that someone else could open your timeline and understand it

What we're looking for

Tools — you should be strong in:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe After Effects — motion graphics and compositing, not just titles

Tools — you should understand:

• 3D — Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent. Enough to build or drop in a simple 3D element, understand cameras and lighting, and integrate it into a live-action cut. We'll teach you the rest
• DaVinci Resolve for grade
• Audio: Audition, Pro Tools, or equivalent — enough to make dialogue sit properly

And:

• 0–2 years editing. Agency, production house, in-house, freelance or your own channel — we care about the cuts, not the letterhead
• A showreel is required, plus at least one full piece we can watch end to end. A reel proves you can cut a montage; a full film proves you can hold a story
• Storytelling instinct: pacing, rhythm, when to hold a shot and when to get out of it. Music sense
• Detail obsession. Frame-accurate cuts, clean audio, correct colour, no artefacts, right export settings. "Good enough" is not in use on these premises
• You can take direction and revisions without ego, and you can also say "I tried it, here's why the other version is better"
• Comfortable with AI-assisted post tooling as part of the workflow — we build these tools, and you'll be one of the first people using them

Nice to have: camera and lighting experience; sound design; Photoshop and Illustrator; experience with dubbed or subtitled content; a second Indian language.

What you'll be doing well by month three

• You can take a social edit from rushes to delivered in a day
• Your project files and folder structure are clean enough for someone else to pick up
• You've cut at least one brand or ad film that we're happy to put in front of clients
• You've used a 3D element in a real piece of work
