Video Editor

About the role:

We're looking for a talented and creative Full-Time Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to transform raw footage and creative concepts into engaging, polished, and high-quality video content.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and audience engagement, along with strong motion graphics skills. You will work on a variety of video content while ensuring that the final output is visually compelling, consistent, and aligned with the required brand or creative direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content.
• Create and incorporate motion graphics, animated text, titles, lower thirds, transitions, visual effects, and graphic elements.
• Trim, rearrange, and structure footage to create a strong narrative and maintain viewer engagement.
• Enhance videos with appropriate background music, sound effects, captions, and audio adjustments.
• Develop visually engaging edits that align with the required tone, style, and brand identity.
• Use creative editing techniques, animations, effects, and visual storytelling to enhance the overall viewing experience.
• Ensure consistency in visual style, audio quality, colour, and overall production quality.
• Collaborate with the team to understand creative requirements and translate concepts into effective video content.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver completed videos within agreed timelines.
• Stay updated with current video editing, motion graphics, and digital content trends.

Requirments:

• 2+ years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects or equivalent editing and motion graphics software.
• Strong motion graphics and animation skills are essential.
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, visual rhythm, and transitions.
• Experience creating animated typography, titles, lower thirds, visual callouts, transitions, and other motion graphic elements.
• Strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to take raw footage or a creative brief and develop it into a compelling final video.
• Good understanding of video formats and content requirements across different digital platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work is required.

Nice to have:

• Experience working on branded, marketing, social media, or digital content.
• Experience editing both long-form and short-form video content.
• Basic graphic design and thumbnail design skills.
• Knowledge of colour grading and advanced sound design.
• Familiarity with current digital video trends and audience engagement techniques.
• Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining visual consistency across content.
