Role overview

As a Video Editor in Lucknow at Tender Palm Super-Speciality Hospital, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that communicates healthcare information, hospital services, patient experiences, doctor expertise, events, and promotional campaigns. The role combines video production, filming, editing, post-production, and creative storytelling.

The Video Editor will work closely with the Digital, Content, Marketing, and other internal teams to transform ideas and raw footage into professional videos suitable for websites, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, digital advertising, presentations, and other communication platforms.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct video shoots for hospital requirements, including doctor interviews, patient testimonials, healthcare awareness videos, corporate films, events, and promotional content.
• Record high-quality video and audio while ensuring appropriate framing, lighting, composition, and sound quality.
• Review, organise, and manage raw footage, photographs, audio files, graphics, and other digital media assets.
• Edit raw footage into engaging, professional, and coherent videos using professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Create reels, short-form videos, educational videos, promotional videos, interviews, patient testimonials, corporate films, and healthcare awareness content.
• Cut, trim, splice, arrange, and sequence footage to achieve effective pacing, flow, and visual storytelling.
• Add transitions, graphics, animations, music, sound effects, subtitles, captions, and other visual elements where required.
• Perform colour correction, basic colour grading, audio enhancement, noise reduction, and other post-production activities.
• Collaborate with the Digital, Content, and Marketing teams to understand creative requirements and develop engaging video content.
• Adapt videos into appropriate formats and aspect ratios for websites, YouTube, Instagram Reels, Facebook, digital advertisements, presentations, and other platforms.
• Provide creative suggestions related to editing styles, visuals, formats, storytelling techniques, and social media video trends.
• Ensure videos meet required technical standards for resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate, audio quality, colour, and export format.
• Review completed videos, incorporate feedback, and deliver final projects within agreed timelines.
• Maintain organised records of raw footage, project files, edited videos, graphics, audio, and other digital assets.
• Ensure appropriate backup, file management, and archiving of video production assets.
• Stay updated with current video editing techniques, social media trends, content formats, and post-production technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, Video Content Creator, or similar role.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in video editing and content production.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or other Adobe Creative Cloud applications will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of video editing, colour correction, sound editing, transitions, graphics, animations, and visual effects.
• Experience in shooting and editing interviews, testimonials, corporate videos, promotional videos, reels, and social media content.
• Strong creative and storytelling skills with the ability to transform raw footage into engaging visual content.
• Good understanding of video composition, pacing, framing, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve creative and technical issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively with digital, content, marketing, and other internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to understand and implement creative feedback.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in creating healthcare videos, doctor interviews, patient testimonials, hospital promotional videos, healthcare awareness content, corporate videos, YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and digital marketing videos will be preferred.

A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating professional video editing, filming, storytelling, motion graphics, colour correction, and social media video production will be an advantage.
