    About this role

    About the Company

Asymmetric Labs is an AI-first, new-age ed-tech company focused on delivering measurable outcomes such as improved ranks, job placements, and sustained career progression. We are currently in stealth mode.

    • Backed by Tier 1 US VCs
    • Founding team of serial entrepreneurs
    • Global team (Singapore / India / US)

Team members work on cutting-edge learning technologies that aim to redefine how learners achieve their goals

About the Role - Short Learning Videos

We are looking for a video editor to work on our academic content video lessons, concept explainers, exam-prep content, and short learning videos. You will take raw footage and source material and turn it into polished, easy-to-follow videos that help learners actually understand and retain what they are watching.

    Responsibilities

    • Edit academic and learning content video lessons, concept explainers, exam-prep videos and short-form learning videos (15–60 seconds)
    • Handle the full edit: cuts and pacing, sound design, music, subtitles/captions, colour correction and export
    • Create supporting motion graphics such as on-screen text, diagrams, callouts, transitions and simple animations to explain concepts clearly
    • Work with the content and academic teams to understand the material and translate it into a clear, watchable video
    • Use AI video tools where useful to speed up production without compromising quality.
    • Turn around edits quickly and make revisions based on feedback
    • Keep project files, footage and templates organised and easy to find, and make sure every video is consistent in look, tone and quality

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience: 1–2 years of video editing experience, ideally including educational, explainer or short-form content
    • Portfolio: a reel or set of videos you edited yourself; this matters more to us than your CV
    • Tools: working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro, plus After Effects for motion graphics
    • AI tools: comfortable with, or keen to learn, AI video tools such as Higgsfield and HeyGen
    • Craft: a good feel for pacing, clarity and structure; you can make a complex topic easy to follow on screen
    • Speed: comfortable handling volume and tight deadlines without letting quality slip
    • Collaboration: takes direction well, communicates clearly, and works well in a fast-moving startup
    • Bonus: experience with short-form/social content, Photoshop or Canva, or a background in ed-tech content

    How to Apply

Email your CV along with a portfolio or reel link (Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, Vimeo, or Behance) to [HIDDEN TEXT].

Please make sure your links are publicly accessible, and tell us in a line or two which videos you cut yourself and what your contribution was.
