Video Editor Reels, Brand Films & Motion Graphics

Role & responsibilities

• Edit Instagram reels, YouTube videos, brand films and ad campaigns for multiple brands
• Create motion graphics, animated logos, lower thirds and title sequences in After Effects
• Create short, scroll-stopping edits with strong hooks, pacing, captions and sound design
• Do colour correction and grading for a consistent look across brands
• Edit event coverage, interviews, podcasts and political campaign content on tight deadlines
• Organise raw footage, project files and final exports for every client
• Work with the content, design and shoot teams from brief to final delivery
• Guide junior editors and interns, and review their edits

Preferred candidate profile

• 26 years of video editing experience, agency or media background preferred
• After Effects is mandatory: hands-on experience with motion graphics, animated titles, kinetic typography and transitions
• Strong showreel with reels, brand films and at least 2–3 After Effects motion pieces (link mandatory)
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube trends, formats and aspect ratios
• Skilled in colour grading, sound mixing and subtitles
• Comfortable using AI tools for editing, captions and voice
• Can handle several brands at once and meet daily deadlines
• Lives in or can commute easily to Thane (Thane, Mumbai suburbs, Navi Mumbai, Mira-Bhayandar)
