Video Editor (Performance Marketing & Paid Ads)

About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor who can turn scripts and raw footage into engaging, conversion-focused video ads. You will create short-form advertisements for Meta, Instagram and YouTube, using strong hooks, clear storytelling and compelling calls to action to drive course purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit paid video ads using faculty footage, course explainers, student stories, testimonials and promotional material.
• Create platform-ready videos in the required formats and aspect ratios.
• Develop multiple variations of opening hooks, visuals, captions, pacing, offers and calls to action for creative testing.
• Use motion graphics, on-screen text, transitions and sound design to communicate course offerings clearly.
• Collaborate with scriptwriters, the Performance Creative Strategist and Growth team to deliver test-ready advertisements.
• Improve existing creatives based on campaign feedback and refresh successful ads with new variations.
• Maintain organised project files and verify course names, exam details, pricing and claims before delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• 14 years of relevant video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or comparable editing software.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form editing, hooks, storytelling, pacing and calls to action.
• Understanding of Hindi/Hinglish audiences and mobile-first video content.
• Ability to deliver multiple high-quality creative variations within deadlines.

Preferred: Experience editing performance ads, direct-response videos or EdTech content.
