Video Editor ( Officer)

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
• Work with raw footage, scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs to produce compelling videos.
• Create engaging Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, ads, brand videos, and other digital content.
• Add transitions, motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, sound effects, music, and other visual elements.
• Ensure videos follow brand guidelines and maintain consistent visual quality.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders.
• Select appropriate music, footage, graphics, and visual assets to enhance storytelling.
• Perform basic color correction, audio mixing, and video enhancement.
• Keep up with current social media trends, editing styles, formats, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver videos within agreed timelines.
• Review and incorporate feedback from internal teams and stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain video files, project files, footage, and other digital assets.

Requirements

• 13 years of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.
• Good understanding of video composition, pacing, storytelling, typography, color, and sound.
• Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into engaging visual content.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with brands, agencies, creators, or digital marketing teams.
• Knowledge of current Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok trends.
• Experience with AI-assisted video editing and creative tools.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, aspect ratios, and export settings.
