Video Editor Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in editing videos for corporate events, exhibitions, brand activations, product launches, and interactive technology projects.
• Create engaging video content, promotional videos, event highlights, project showcases, and social media reels.
• Edit raw footage by trimming clips, arranging sequences, adding transitions, and synchronizing audio.
• Add text overlays, titles, subtitles, motion graphics, background music, and visual effects as required.
• Assist in creating demo videos and project walkthroughs showcasing interactive installations, AR/VR experiences, projection mapping, and other experiential technology solutions.
• Collaborate with the design, graphics, and digital marketing teams to produce visually appealing content aligned with project requirements.
• Assist in creating videos in different formats and aspect ratios for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, presentations, and client proposals.
• Organize and manage raw footage, project files, audio assets, and final video exports.
• Ensure video quality, visual consistency, correct formatting, and timely delivery of assigned projects.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from the team to improve the final output.
• Explore creative editing techniques, trending video formats, and new tools to enhance content quality.
• Support the team in developing creative video concepts and visual storytelling for company projects and marketing initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Video Editing, Film Making, Mass Media, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or other motion graphics tools will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of video composition, storytelling, transitions, colour correction, audio synchronization, and pacing.
• Creative mindset with a good sense of visual aesthetics, timing, and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of video formats, resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings.
• Ability to follow creative briefs, understand project requirements, and incorporate feedback.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Interest in event technology, experiential marketing, interactive installations, AR/VR, projection mapping, and innovative brand experiences.
• Willingness to learn new editing techniques, tools, and workflows.
• A portfolio of personal projects, college assignments, reels, or edited videos is preferred.
• Freshers are welcome. A strong willingness to learn and demonstrate creativity is more important than extensive professional experience.
