Video Editor Intern

LXL Ideas is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to support our marketing and content teams in creating engaging video content across our brands and initiatives.

The intern will work on short-form and long-form video content, including social media reels, promotional videos, event coverage and other digital content. The role will involve editing raw footage, creating engaging visual narratives, adding motion graphics and transitions, and ensuring high-quality audio, colour and overall presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media and digital platforms.
• Create engaging Reels, promotional videos and campaign content.
• Work with raw footage, audio, images and other visual assets.
• Add transitions, titles, subtitles, effects and basic motion graphics.
• Perform basic colour correction and audio editing.
• Adapt videos for different platforms and formats.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams on content requirements.
• Stay updated with current video editing and social media content trends.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent editing software.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects is preferred.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and visual composition.
• Good attention to detail and creative sensibility.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
