Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor cum Videographer based at Cindrebay School of Design in Kozhikode. The role involves planning, shooting, and editing video content for marketing, educational, and promotional purposes, including campus events, classroom activities, interviews, and brand stories. The professional will handle end-to-end video production, from conceptualization and storyboarding to filming, color grading, sound syncing, and final delivery in required formats. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the marketing and academic teams, managing equipment, organizing footage, maintaining a consistent visual style, and meeting project timelines. The role may also involve creating simple motion graphics, coordinating with designers for graphic elements, and ensuring all video content aligns with the institution's brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production, including planning shoots, operating cameras, handling audio, and managing lighting setups.
• Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Color Grading using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Ability to create Motion Graphics and integrate Graphics elements to enhance storytelling and brand communication.
• Relevant experience as a videographer and video editor, preferably in education, media, or advertising environments.
• Good visual storytelling sense, attention to detail, and understanding of composition, pacing, and narrative structure.
• Basic knowledge of file formats, codecs, and video export settings for web, social media, and large-display outputs.
• Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is an advantage; a strong portfolio of video work is essential.
