Video Editor & Creative Content Director (Part-Time/Full-Time, Remote)

About the Role:

Toast is a Lima (Peru)-based marketing and branding agency working with a wide and growing roster of clients across many different industries fashion, restaurants, fitness and wellness spaces, beauty, hospitality, and more. We're looking for a Video Editor & Creative Content Director with a sharp aesthetic eye who can move fluidly between very different brands, set the creative direction for each, and bring it to life through video and motion content.

This is a role for someone who thinks creatively and executes at a high level from the first idea to the final edit.

Responsibilities:

• Develop original content concepts for each client, backed by strong visual references (Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, youtube, etc.)
• Once concepts are approved, build the full shoot plan: script/storyboard, shot list, schedule, and reference board
• Edit high-quality video content (Reels, TikTok, promotional videos) with a polished, trend-aware aesthetic
• Design animated GIFs and motion graphics for social and web
• Design static graphic pieces for social (carousels, stories, posts), not just video (when needed)
• Use AI tools professionally to speed up and elevate the creative process content generation, image/video tools, ideation, and workflow efficiency
• Adapt tone and visual identity across a diverse client roster, each with its own personality
• Maintain a content calendar and keep a well-organized library of assets and references
• Research trends, audios, and formats relevant to each brand and market
• Color correction and audio/subtitle adjustments in videos
• Propose creative variations for paid-ad testing (A/B)
• Direct or advise remotely during shoots when needed
• Stay on top of AI trends and propose new tools to the team

Requirements:

• Strong aesthetic sense portfolio required
• Proven video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
• Ability to create GIFs and motion graphics
• Professional, hands-on experience using AI creative tools
• Proficiency with a design tool (Canva, Figma, or Photoshop)
• Comfortable adapting across many industries and brand identities
• Fluent English
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple clients at once
• Able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of deliverables
• Good communication to receive and apply feedback quickly

Schedule & Growth:
Starts with a 3-month part-time trial, 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST. Based on performance, the role transitions to full-time (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM IST).

Compensation:

• Trial (3 months, part-time): 18,000/month
• Full-time (after trial): 40,000/month (4,80,000/year)
• Two annual performance bonuses of up to 50% of salary each, paid in December and July
