Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Content Writer who can produce engaging written and video content for websites, social media platforms, YouTube channels, and digital marketing campaigns.

The candidate should be comfortable writing clear, engaging content and converting ideas or scripts into high-quality videos suitable for marketing, brand awareness, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Writing

• Write website content, blogs, articles, landing pages, and marketing copy.
• Develop engaging social media captions, promotional content, and video scripts.
• Create SEO-friendly content using relevant keywords and search intent.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and target audiences.
• Use AI writing tools responsibly to support research and content ideation.

2. Video Editing

• Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other digital platforms.
• Convert raw footage into engaging, well-structured videos.
• Add transitions, captions, subtitles, background music, and visual effects where appropriate.
• Create promotional videos, explainer videos, and marketing creatives.
• Optimize video formats, dimensions, and quality for different platforms.
• Maintain consistent branding and visual quality across content.

3. Thumbnails & Creative Content

• Design attractive YouTube thumbnails, social media creatives, and supporting graphics.
• Use tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop creative concepts and content calendars.

4. Content Publishing & Optimization

• Prepare video titles, descriptions, captions, and supporting copy.
• Apply basic SEO principles to blogs and video content.
• Follow content calendars and publishing schedules.
• Review engagement and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Required Skills

• Strong written English and content-writing skills.
• Hands-on video editing experience with a portfolio or sample work.
• Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design tools.
• Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and other social media content formats.
• Basic SEO knowledge and keyword research skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and time-management skills.

Eligibility

• 1--4 years of relevant experience in content writing, video editing, or digital content creation.
• Willingness to work from the office in Madhapur, Hyderabad.
• Comfortable working night shifts aligned with US business hours.
• Available to work five days a week.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Preferred: Candidates who can demonstrate their writing ability and video editing skills through published work, a portfolio, or a practical assessment.
