About this role
A diversified financial services group with a merchant banking practice is hiring an ECM Origination professional with a strong network among promoters, corporates and market participants.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead origination of ECM mandates across sectors - IPO, QIP, Rights Issue, OFS and structured equity
- Develop relationships with promoters, CFOs, PE / VC funds, family offices and institutional investors
- Drive client pitches, mandate discussions and transaction structuring conversations
- Build sector-focused business development strategies
- Work with execution teams to convert opportunities into mandates
- Maintain and expand a strong network within the capital markets ecosystem
Relevant backgrounds: ECM origination, investment banking, corporate banking, institutional sales or capital markets. A demonstrated record of sourcing and closing ECM mandates is essential.
