Role Overview

We are seeking a Vice President Sales to lead sales, business growth and market expansion for our Commercial Vehicle/Truck business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategy to drive volume, revenue, market share and profitability.
• Lead national/regional sales teams and dealer/channel networks.
• Expand and strengthen dealer/distributor network and improve channel profitability.
• Drive sales across HCV, MCV and/or LCV segments.
• Manage relationships with fleet operators, transporters, logistics companies, institutions and key accounts.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competition, pricing and product positioning.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Service and Operations teams.
• Lead sales planning, forecasting, target setting and performance management.
• Build a high-performance sales organization and develop future sales leaders.

Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of automotive sales experience.
• Strong experience in Commercial Vehicle / Truck sales.
• Proven leadership of large sales teams and dealer networks.
• Strong exposure to dealer management, channel development, fleet and institutional sales.
• Deep understanding of the Indian commercial vehicle market.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, business-management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proven track record of delivering aggressive sales and market-share targets.

Preferred Background

Candidates from Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, or other leading Commercial Vehicle/Truck manufacturers will be preferred.
