We are hiring an experienced professional for a Legal Escalation Desk role with a leading financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage escalations involving regulatory authorities, government bodies and senior management.
- Handle complex and sensitive customer complaints, legal disputes and litigation-related escalations.
- Prepare, review and coordinate responses to regulatory and government authorities within defined TATs.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Customer Service and other internal stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Maintain detailed records of escalations, communications and actions taken.
- Develop and review SOPs, response templates and escalation management processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to prevent recurring escalations.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports to monitor escalations, resolution timelines and process effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements:
- 11 - 15 years of progressive experience in litigation, legal escalations or regulatory management.
- LLB / LLM qualification is mandatory.
- Relevant experience in banking, NBFC or financial services preferred.
- Strong understanding of regulatory correspondence, customer disputes and escalation management.
- Excellent communication, drafting, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
