Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer (Java Full Stack Development) to join our ENTERPRISE RISK TECH RISK ENGINEERING team. This role is located in Pune. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks.
- Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and web applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive best practices in software design, coding standards, testing, security, and performance optimization.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technology strategy and engineering roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes and improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building.
- Support CI/CD implementation, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
- Ensure applications meet reliability, availability, and compliance standards.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Significant experience in full-stack application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), design patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and performance tuning.
