Job Title: Vice President - AIF Fund Raising & Business Development

Job Overview:

- Lead fund-raise efforts for AIF Schemes, other structures, and partnerships from potential investors either directly or via distributors and channel partners.

- Maintain and grow the network of investors and key stakeholders across the enterprise.

- The ideal candidate should possess a strong network among channel partners and wealth management firms, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the alternative investments landscape and products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising:

- Lead fund-raise for AIF, managed accounts, and partnerships of NovumLake.

- Strategize and execute the fund raise exercises from conception to completion to achieve fund raising goals.

2. Relationship Management:

- Maintain and grow the network of direct investors and channel partners.

- Stay updated on market trends in the real estate alternative investment space.

3. Building Platform:

- Lead or assist in sourcing and execution of transactions in the nature of co-invest or syndication.

- Assist in overall growth and development of the enterprise including creation of new verticals and business areas.

Essential Attributes:

- Between 7 - 10 years relevant experience in AIF fund raise directly or through channel partners.

- Track record of one or more successful AIF or fund closings, preferably in real estate alternatives space.

- Strong network of channel partners or potential investors and an ability to manage and grow relationships.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of AIF market trends, regulations, products, and taxation.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- Academic background in finance with MBA, CFA, CA, or equivalent.

Entrepreneurial setting:

- The candidate must have the ability to work in an entrepreneurial setting or small team.

- Reporting into the Managing Partner or CEO directly.
