Veterinary Assistant Surgeon

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in animal treatment, healthcare, and rescue operations.
• Conduct basic health check-ups and monitor animals' health conditions.
• Provide support during vaccination, wound dressing, and medication under veterinary supervision.
• Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment histories.
• Monitor animal recovery and ensure proper feeding, hygiene, and care.
• Assist in emergency rescue operations and provide first aid to animals.
• Ensure proper handling of medical equipment and maintain cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Paravet or in veterinary care is required.
• Knowledge of animal handling, basic treatment, and healthcare procedures.
• Ability to assist veterinarians during medical emergencies.
• Compassion for animals, responsibility, and good teamwork skills.
• Relevant veterinary or animal healthcare qualification preferred.
