Verification Specialist

Role & responsibilities :

• Insurance Verification & Eligibility: Confirming active patient coverage, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, and frequency limitations prior to procedures.
• Dental Coding Knowledge: Understanding CDT codes (Current Dental Terminology) used to categorize dental treatments and procedures.
• Payer Portal & Clearinghouse Navigation: Using web portals and electronic data interchange (EDI) platforms to check claims, benefits, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents.
• Practice Management Software: Familiarity with tools like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Denticon
