Vendor Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
• Conduct market research to identify new vendors, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain operations for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic sourcing plans that align with business objectives.
• Analyze data from SAP systems to track procurement costs, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Job Requirements :

• 6-15 years of experience in vendor development or a related field (e.g., procurement).
• Strong understanding of zero-based costing principles and ability to apply them effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using SAP or similar procurement software;
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors.
