Vendor Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Handling and development of vendors for fabrication of Heat Exchangers (HE), structures, tanks, machining, drilling, and forming operations.
• Responsible for new vendor development, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Proactive in vendor follow-up, inspection activities, and ensuring timely completion of work at vendor locations in and around Pune.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems along with planning and coordination of vendor activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience of 3-8 yrs fabrication preferably in SS, Exotic material & fabrication.
• Good knowledge of product costing, market trends, raw materials, material specifications, and applicable code requirements.
• Good understanding of ASME codes, product quality requirements, and manufacturing processes such as welding and polishing.
