About The Job:

• This is an Automation project to enable Deutsche Bank patch their environment (not just VMware estate) quicker.
• Automation work is focused on improving the patching process from Pre-Production (i.e. UAT, test environments) through to Production.

Essential Job Functions:

• Developing and maintaining automation workflows, operational procedures that streamline lifecycle activities, reduce manual effort, and improve operational consistency.
• Support patch validation, remediation activities, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, security teams, and operations teams across their global engineering organization.
• Contribute to standards, best practices, and reusable automation frameworks that improve platform stability, security, patch compliance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• They are ideally looking for (2) "Offshore " VCF / Automation Engineers/Consultants with knowledge and 10 years of experience in:
• VCF (full stack)
• VCF Ops/ Automation
• Aria Automation Orchestrator (formerly VRO)
• JavaScript
• PowerShell
• PowerCLI
• Python
• Terraform
• CI/CD etc. are "nice to haves "
• Platform lifecycle management
• Patch compliance & security remediation
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
• Change & Configuration Management
