Vb.Net Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications using VB.NET, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework.
• Perform coding, debugging, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Design, develop, consume, and integrate Web Services and REST APIs.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database components.
• Support application deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, application failures, and performance problems.
• Work with IIS for application hosting, configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment support.
• Use Git for source control, branching, merging, and code repository management.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise applications using VB.NET.
• Experience in developing and supporting web applications using ASP.NET and .NET Framework.
• Good understanding of .NET Framework architecture, application development, and reusable components.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, queries, joins, views, functions, and data handling.
• Hands-on experience in creating, modifying, and optimizing stored procedures.
• Ability to identify slow-running queries and improve database/application performance.
• Experience in developing, consuming, and integrating Web Services with applications.
• Good understanding of REST API development and consumption, HTTP methods, JSON/XML, and API integration.
• Knowledge of writing and executing unit test cases and supporting automated testing practices.
