Location: Bengaluru / Salem / Chennai / Hyderabad

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 1–3 Months

Experience: Prior Cyber Security / VAPT exposure preferred

Stipend:7,000 per month

About the Role

Codexaon is looking for a motivated VAPT Intern to join our Cyber Security team. The candidate will gain practical exposure to vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, application security, and professional security reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform authorized vulnerability assessments
• Assist in web application and API penetration testing
• Conduct reconnaissance and security testing
• Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities
• Analyze vulnerabilities and their potential impact
• Prepare professional VAPT reports
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and re-testing
• Follow defined testing methodologies and security guidelines

• Networking fundamentals
• Linux & Windows
• OWASP Top 10
• Web Application Security
• API Security fundamentals
• Burp Suite
• Nmap
• Wireshark
• Metasploit
• Basic Python / Bash scripting

Eligibility

• Degree / Diploma in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Prior cybersecurity, VAPT, SOC, or security testing exposure preferred
• CEH / Security+ or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good technical documentation and communication skills
